Update Payment Method
Payment methods are managed in the Stripe billing portal. You can add a new card, remove an old one, or set a different card as the default — all without leaving the secure Stripe environment.
Steps
- Open My Account from the sidebar.
- In the Billing section, click Payment methods.
- The Stripe billing portal opens with the payment method management view.
- Add, remove, or update your payment method.
- Close the portal — Stripe redirects you back to Seekdown.
Tips
- You can update payment methods even if your subscription is paused or
expired — this shortcut does not require an active subscription.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries automatically. You will receive an email
with a link to the billing portal where you can update the card.
- After updating a payment method, the next charge uses the new card
automatically.
